Made from Kaufman silk radiance fabric. Original design. Quilting motifs were selected to create a soft, ethereal feeling. I have combined significant ruler work, cross hatching, and feathered areas. The 1/2″ wide binding has a hand beaded piping of bugle and seed beads. This quilt won best machine quilting at one of it’s first shows of 2014. On the cover of Quilter’s Newsletter, Dec-Jan 2015.
This quilt earned a 3rd at IQF Houston in 2014, and a 1st at AQS Paducah in 2015. It will be featured in AQS’s 2016 wall calendar also.
