Fiber guild of Folsom, CA.\u00a0 It is their Opportunity quilt, and was raffled off at their February 2011 quilt show.\u00a0 This quilt has 2 layers of batting, Hobbs 80\/20 on the bottom and a Hobbs Polydown on the top.\u00a0 It yields wonderful quilting definition.\u00a0 Threads (all Superior So Fine)\u00a0in 4 colors were also used &#8211; a dark brown, light tan, a cranberry red and a sandy tan.\u00a0 I quilted custom feathering in the lighter logs.\u00a0 The darker logs were done with curved rulers and free-handed swirling.\u00a0 The client requested that the Valley Oak leaf be incorporated into the quilt, so I fussy placed leaves in every red square, as well as added a border of leaves &amp; swirls.\u00a0 The 10&#8243; wide tan border was broken into 3 regions: one for the scrolling leaf border, one for a wide and fancier feathering, and then a pin-striping from the feathers to the edge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>80&#8243;x95&#8243;
