Made by Erin Zehm. \u00a0This custom quilt had quilting designed to avoid ditch stitching, as most seams were pressed open. \u00a0It is a perfect example showing that quilting on a pieced quilt w\/o SID can still be gorgeous. \u00a0It uses a single Hobbs 80\/20 batt and a couple shades of YLI polished poly thread. \u00a0The focal point of the quilt is the lovely center medallion star. \u00a0It is framed with an arabesque-style arch, and filled with cross-hatching, scrolls and a filler.
