This is the simplest, most economical type of quilting. The same pattern is quilted across the entire quilt. It is an excellent option for higher-use utilitarian quilts or quilts with a lot of piecing or prints (which would often obscure custom quilting). Edge-to-Edge quilting may be executed freehand from the front of the long arm, or by using a paper pattern called a Pantograph from the backside of the machine.
