This quilt (100″x100″) was made by me. It is quilted with a Hobbs Heirloom wool batting, which provides great definition to the quilting. Threads are Superior So Fine and bottomline (bobbin), and were selected to coordinate/blend with the fabrics. The quilt showcases many areas of curving feathers, outline stitching and customized designs. Each of the 9 star blocks has small curved cross-hatching and detail quilting. This quilt represents about 24 hours of work.  This quilt has received a 3rd place ribbon at the Maine Quilt Show in August 2010 and a first place ribbon at MQX 2010 in the Rookie category.  It has also been published in the July 2010 Machine Quilting Unlimited magazine and the September 2010 The Quilter Magazine.
